Auction Narrative Report for Mon 07/30/2012

Estimated Receipts: 4100 Last Monday: 5137 Yr Ago Monday: 5819

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 2.00-4.00 higher.
Steer and heifer calves 2.00-3.00 lower in a light test. Demand very good
for limited numbers. High pressure continues to dominate pushing
temperatures well above 100. Light numbers due to this high heat as well as
the belief that many cattle have already been marketed. Quality plain to
average. Feeder cattle in slightly thin to moderate flesh with average
weigh-ups.
