Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Monday

Thus far for Monday, negotiated cash was mostly inactive on light demand in the Southern and Northern Plains as well as the Western Cornbelt. Not enough sales in any feeding region for an adequate market test.

The latest established market in the Texas Panhandle was last week with live sales from 120.00-122.00. In Kansas last week, live sales traded at 122.00. In Nebraska for the previous week, live sales traded from 123.00-124.50 with dressed sales from 199.00-200.00. Last week in Colorado, live sales traded from 122.00-123.50 on a light test. In the Western Cornbelt last week, live sales traded from 124.00-125.00 with dressed sales from 198.00-200.00.
